ahmia vs amhia — what's the difference?

The names look almost identical, but ahmia and amhia refer to different things. Here is the difference.

Ahmia is a well-known, open-source search engine for hidden services. It indexes websites and services that regular search engines do not list and lets people search them by keyword.

amhia.fi, on the other hand, is a lightweight, modern search page. Many people type ahmia or ahmia.fi but arrive at amhia.fi instead. That is fine — you can search hidden services right here at amhia.fi.

In short: ahmia is the search engine, and amhia.fi is a simple, fast place to search hidden services.
